Sports Medicine Clinic with Dr Sosa

Service Description

In partnership with Family Medical Practice, STAR is happy to introduce an open clinic with Dr Sosa an Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in sports medicine and trauma. This event will take place every 6-8 weeks, at the STAR centre in Tay Ho and will include a practical short talk on a topic (e.g. shoulder mobility, knee health...) followed by an open clinic to take questions and discuss any specific queries related to sports injury and health. Note: Pre-booking is required and a minimum of 6 attendees to be booked is needed for the event to go ahead. This is a free class for all STAR members, guests and visitors. Lưu ý: Yêu cầu đặt lịch trước và cần tối thiểu 6 khách dự khán đặt lịch trước để sự kiện được tổ chức. ----- More about Dr Sosa: After his residency in Orthopaedics, he took a Master’s in Upper Limb Surgery at the University of Bologna (Italy). Furthermore, the Sports Medicine program at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia (USA) obtained his second Master’s in Shoulder Surgery with the University of Andalucía (Spain). Once in Vietnam, he continues his surgical training with Arthrex ArthroLab (Singapore) focused on arthroscopic techniques for shoulder and knee injuries. Dr. Sosa joined FMP in 2018 and is responsible for all orthopaedic and trauma cases.
