STAR MOVES FOR HOPEBOX #MOVEFORHOPE

Join the team in our 24 hour Boxathon from 12:00 on 26th November 2022

The STAR team will be training for 24 hours in support of the #moveforhope campaign, in our efforts to raise 50,000,000vnd for HopeBox

You can join us for a 1 hour session or multiple sessions throughout the 24 hour event, STAR Kickboxing will not be charging any fees for the session, however, we request that you make a donation to the Move for Hope fund either in cash at reception or directly online at the official fundraising page.

Who can take part?

Anyone! Members, Non-Members, Former Members… absolutely anyone!

How to book?

Or speak to the team at reception!

What about if I am not living in Hanoi anymore?

For our friends who have left Hanoi, we would love to see you at the event! Join us for an online session!

If you are booking to join the session online then you will receive a Zoom link after the booking is made!

How much is it?

It's a donation based event, so there is no set price, however, we would suggest a minimum of 250,000vnd (approximately $10) would be really great!

How do I donate?

You can donate from anywhere in the world on the official fundraising page

Or by cash at STAR reception (payment online is preferred!)

I can’t train that day, how else can I support the fundraiser?

Lots of ways!

  • You can sponsor the team to complete their 24 hour boxathon

  • Buy your favorite coach some burpees for the ongoing burpee challenge (5,000vnd per burpee)

  • In centre we are also running a raffle with some great prizes including a “Lifetime Price Freeze” and all drink sales throughout November are being donated to HopeBox

What is HopeBox and why is their work important?

63% of Vietnamese women have experienced one or more forms of physical, sexual, emotional and economic violence and controlling behaviours by their husbands in their lifetime.

Hopebox is a Vietnamese charity that provides paid-work, accommodation and the tools to enable women who are survivors of gender-based violence to be financially independent for the future.
