STAR Kickboxing & Fitness confirms that its safety, participation, and liability policies comply with all applicable regulations under Vietnamese law. These policies are developed in accordance with the Bộ luật Dân sự 2015 (Civil Code 2015), which governs service agreements, contractual obligations, and limitations of liability; the Luật Bảo vệ Quyền lợi Người Tiêu dùng 2023 (Law on Consumer Protection 2023), which requires clear communication of service conditions, risks, and customer rights; and the Luật Thể dục, Thể thao 2018, sửa đổi 2020 (Law on Physical Training and Sports 2018, amended 2020), which outlines mandatory safety standards for sports service providers and participants. STAR’s policies also reflect the responsibilities set out in the Bộ luật Hình sự 2015, sửa đổi 2017 (Penal Code 2015, amended 2017) regarding the prevention of negligence or unsafe practices in training environments, as well as requirements relating to health information under the Luật Khám bệnh, Chữa bệnh 2009, sửa đổi 2023 (Law on Medical Examination and Treatment 2009, amended 2023).
Through adherence to these regulations, STAR ensures that all safety guidance, participation requirements, conduct expectations, and liability provisions are transparent, lawful, and aligned with national standards for consumer protection and sports training safety.
Code of Conduct and Safety
Members are expected to treat coaches, staff, and fellow members with respect at all times. They must follow all safety instructions and guidance provided by STAR coaches and staff. Members are required to use equipment responsibly, report any damage or hazards immediately, and maintain proper hygiene, including wearing clean clothing and using a towel during training. Aggressive, disrespectful, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in membership suspension or termination without refund. STAR Kickboxing & Fitness promotes an inclusive, family-friendly environment, and all members are expected to behave appropriately and supportively.
Liability and Risk Acknowledgement
Participants acknowledge that martial arts, boxing, and fitness training involve physical exertion and inherent risks, including the risk of injury. They confirm that they are in good physical condition and have disclosed any relevant health conditions, injuries, or limitations that may affect their participation. All training activities are undertaken voluntarily and at the participant’s own risk, and each individual accepts personal responsibility for their safety during all sessions. Participants agree to follow all rules, safety procedures, and coach instructions to minimise the risk of injury to themselves or others.
STAR Kickboxing & Fitness, its owners, coaches, staff, and contractors shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred as a result of participation in training or use of facilities, except in cases of proven negligence or breach of duty. Participants accept that failure to follow the stated safety and conduct requirements may result in injury or loss for which they assume full responsibility.

We take the health and wellbeing of all members and service users very seriously, to help us ensure that we can deliver a training programme to suit your needs and for the purposes of health and safety regulations, we require all service users to complete this form. If your circumstances change please inform your coach.
