All members are required to complete a new membership agreement with each membership they purchase. It is a legally binding consumer contract made in accordance with Vietnamese consumer protection law.

Payment Policy:

• All prices are inclusive of VAT. 

• Payment in VND is required. 

• Our preferred payment method is cash or local bank transfer. Card payment can also be accepted.

Refund Policy:

STAR Kickboxing & Fitness Refund Policy, states that all membership fees are non-refundable. Once payment has been made, members are not entitled to a refund for any reason, including but not limited to change of mind, relocation, or inability to attend.

Interest-free payment plans are available. 

• Overview STAR Kickboxing & Fitness offers an interest-free installment payment plan to provide greater flexibility and convenience for members purchasing eligible memberships. All payment plans are conducted in accordance with:

  • Law on Protection of Consumer Rights No. 19/2023/QH15 (effective 1 July 2024)

  • Civil Code No. 91/2015/QH13, Articles 430–453 (Contractual obligations and installment agreements)

  • Law on Tax Administration No. 38/2019/QH14 (VAT invoicing and payment compliance)

• Eligibility and Payment Schedule

  • Initial Payment: All installment plans require a 50% payment at sign-up to confirm the membership.

  • Installment plans not available for memberships that are valid for less than 3 months. 

  • Memberships valued under 25,000,000 VND: The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full within 30 days of sign-up.

  • Memberships valued at 25,000,000 VND or above:

    • 50% due at sign-up

    • 25% due within 30 days

    • 25% due within 60 days

  • Any alternative payment schedule agreements will be agreed at sign up and authorised by the centre manager. 

• Payment Terms and Conditions

  • All payments must be made on or before the agreed due dates.

  • Late or missed payments will result in automatic membership cancellation, and any fees paid to that point will be forfeited.

  • Payment plans are interest-free, non-transferable, and non-refundable.

  • All payments must be processed through approved payment methods, and VAT invoices will be issued in accordance with Vietnamese tax law.

  • Memberships cannot be suspended until full payment is made

• Confirmation and Record Keeping 

  • A written confirmation of the payment schedule (including due dates and amounts) will be sent via email at the time of sign-up. This forms part of the binding membership agreement between the Member and STAR Kickboxing & Fitness.

• Compliance and Consumer Rights 

  • This installment plan policy is designed to protect both the Member and STAR Kickboxing & Fitness, ensuring compliance with Vietnamese consumer and tax legislation. Members are encouraged to review these terms carefully before agreeing to an installment plan.

Membership Duration:

• Weekly Flex Memberships are valid for seven (7) days from the start date. 

• The Tourist Package Memberships are valid for one (1) month from the start date. 

• 8 class pass, BJJ / Yoga / Kids 8 Class Pass Memberships are valid for two (2) months from the start date.

• Bronze Memberships are valid for three (3) months from the start date. 

• Silver Membership is valid for twelve (12) months from the start date.

• Gold Membership is valid for eighteen (18) months from the start date.

All sessions must be used within this period. Any unused sessions at the end of the term will be forfeited, unless the member purchases a new membership, in which case remaining sessions may be rolled over to the new package in accordance with STAR Kickboxing & Fitness policy.

Home Training (Personal Training):

• PT sessions held outside of the STAR centre (e.g. at home or another gym) incur an extra fee of 150,000 VND per session.

Shared Personal Training (2:1, 3:1, etc.):

• Semi-private training (2:1, 3:1, etc.) is available.

• Each additional participant in a personal training session is charged at 50% of the membership rate.

All sessions are charged at the agreed rate, even if one participant does not attend.

Transfer Policy:

STAR Kickboxing & Fitness Transfer Policy, states that Personal Training Memberships may be transferred to another person, but it is the member’s responsibility to arrange the transfer. STAR Kickboxing & Fitness cannot assist in finding someone to take over the membership. A processing fee of 500,000 VND will be charged to complete the transfer.
Group Memberships are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged, shared, or transferred under any circumstances.

Suspension Policy:

• Personal Training Memberships with a duration of 3 months may be paused for up to 2 weeks.

• Personal Training Memberships with a duration of 12 months may be paused for up to 1 month

• Personal Training Memberships with a duration of 18 months may be paused for up to 3 months

• Group Memberships cannot be paused under any circumstances.

In exceptional situations (such as pregnancy or verified medical/injury-related reasons), longer pauses may be approved at the discretion of STAR management.

Pauses cannot be backdated under any circumstance and must be requested with the reception team in advance.

Under 18’s:

Parents or legal guardians of children under 18 years old training at STAR Kickboxing and Fitness must supervise or remain contactable during children’s classes unless otherwise approved by STAR management. Parents or legal guardians must ensure that children are collected immediately after class is finished.

Booking Policy:

• All classes and personal training sessions must be booked through the STAR Member App, between 1 month and 4 hours in advance.

• All bookings are subject to availability

• Cancellations are free of charge if made at least 6 hours before the scheduled session (or 3 hours for members with Priority Booking).

• If a session is cancelled with less than the required notice or if the member does not attend (“no show”), the session will be charged in full under the current membership.

• Members with Unlimited Group Class Memberships who late cancel or fail to attend will be blocked from making new bookings for 3 days

Membership Agreements at STAR Kickboxing and Fitness are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, including but not limited to the Law on Protection of Consumer Rights No. 19/2023/QH15 (effective 1 July 2024) which sets out the rights of consumers and obligations of service-providers.
